ASHA KIRAN FOUNDATION is the Ray of Hope for orphan, underprivileged and neglected children. It was established in 2008 by a young, dynamic and dedicated social worker Shri Pratap Kumar Pradhan with a view to “Save the girl child and stop female foeticide.”
Asha Kiran Children’s Home is a special home for girl children neglected by their families and society. In 2008 a home was set up by Shri Pratap Kumar Pradhan with an intention to shelter and nourish the abandoned little girl children who were the innocent victims of a communal riot in Kandhamal. The Home is a special project of the Asha Kiran Foundation, a Trust duly registered under the Indian Trust Act,1882. It has applied for registration under the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act, 1976 as well as under Sections 12AA and 80-G of the Income-tax Act,1960 for tax exemption for donations. Initially, the Foundation adopted 10 children in 2008 and gradually the number has grown to 21.

balanced nutrition and all-round development in a healthy, safe and loving environment.
We at Ashakiran Foundation constantly working on different new projects that will
in return help the girls and for the betterment of the society. All these possibilities with the kind help by our Donors & volunteers.

Covid-19 and Covid Second wave assistance were our biggest achievement from which thousands of people benefitted.
